How to be happy and prevent negativity

Invoke gratitude

In reading Wallace Wattles book on gratitude there is a sentence in there that just struck me and I wanted to share it with you today.

Wallace says gratitude does bring you more good, but that is not the only reason to practice gratitude. Gratitude is also preventative. Without gratitude it won't be long until your thoughts will flip into what's wrong and what's missing. When you put your attention on these negatives you can only attract more of what's wrong and what's missing.

Gratitude not only invokes the law of increase for your greater good, but it's also a preventative of the downdraft of moving into the ideas and feelings of what's wrong creating more of that.

Have a good day in gratitude,
Mary
