How to get the guidance and help you need

Give and it shall be given unto you

In the gospel of Matthew Jesus says give and it shall be given unto you. The practice of that is in our daily lives.

The other morning I was looking for a belt that I couldn't find any place and then finally I looked at my husband. He needed something so I said, “Well here let me help you do that” and as I moved some things to help him I found my belt.

Immediately I thought this is how it works in the universe. As soon as I decided to help someone else, I got what I needed.

So today I encourage us to find some way to help somebody else in a different way than normal. Just consciously choose to lend a really deeply listening ear or a really strongly and deeply felt encouraging word. Or sit with someone and discover what they need and try to help them get it. Notice how the givingness of the universe reveals itself to you in the process.

Give and it shall be given. Have a great day.

Happy giving,
Mary
