Live fully, love wastefully, and celebrate who God created us to be

Let us learn together

At the Honolulu Unity Church the way they open their service is such a beautiful invitation to a way of living. One of the things they encourage themselves, each other and their world to do is this: Let us together learn how to live our lives fully, to love wastefully and to celebrate who God created us to be.

To live our lives fully would mean to be fully present in each moment so that we can fully inhabit the life that is ours this day. To love wastefully is to let go of every score card and every concern about am I getting enough, did I give more here, just open ourselves to being the place and the space where love can move wastefully through us into the world and notice that as we give so we receive. And then to celebrate who God created us to be, not who others think we should be, not what the world tells us we should be but deep down what is in alignment with our own soul's code.

So may we each today live our lives fully, love wastefully and celebrate who God created us to be.

Many Blessings,
Mary
