Put it in perspective

What difference is being made?

Some friends shared a story with me about their friend who would occasionally say something that really put things into perspective. He’d hit a bad golf shot, get stuck in traffic, or even when big problems arose he would say this line. “In the light of eternity, how can this possibly make any difference?” In the light of eternity, how can this possibly make any difference?

Today as we go through our day and the normal things happen, let’s keep an eternal perspective. Each one of us is here to bear witness to the glory of the one who indwells us. In light of eternity, all the little things that happen, how can they possibly make any difference? The difference is how we handle the things that really don’t matter and bring in the things that really do. So in the light of eternity, you bringing forth your light does make a difference. In the light of eternity, you discovering who you really are does make a difference. In the light of eternity, can this make any possible difference?

Many Blessings,
Mary
