A reason to smile

Here is a great reason to smile today

I have a friend who was telling me recently that our body does not know the difference between a real smile and a fake smile. When we put a smile on our face there are endorphins released by the brain that move through the body. These endorphins raise our immune system, increase our aliveness, and open the door to creativity.

Now if we have an authentic smile that’s hooked to our emotional system, then of course there are more endorphins and more response. Nevertheless, as the SincoNoye group in Japan says, “Well you can be happy and then laugh or you can laugh and be happy. Both ways work.”

So today, let’s put a smile on our face and just trust that the reason God gave us a way to smile is that it’s hooked to a system inside ourselves. This system is wired to what we’re really here for and that is to experience, express, and live in the love that is the source of our life. So right now, join me and let’s put a smile on our face. We’re going to have a great day

Many Blessings,
Mary
