Thank God for this most amazing day

Tune into today and expand awareness of the precious gift of human birth

EE Cummings once wrote a beautiful piece of poetry that you and I can tune into today and expand our awareness of the precious gift of this human birth.

He wrote:

I thank you God for this most amazing day
For the leaping greenly spirits of the trees
For the blue true dream of sky; and for everything, everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.

I, who have died, am alive again today and this is the birth day of life and of love and of all the great happening illimitably beautiful things that are earth and life itself.

How should tasting, touching, hearing, seeing, breathing merely human beings doubt the unimaginable you?  You who are life itself are happening in me.

Thank you God for this most amazing day.

Let’s each one of us practice this day staying in that recognition that this is an amazing day, a unique gift, a great gift called our human birth.  May we appreciate it today, even more than we have before.  Have a great day!

Many Blessings,
Mary
