An unexamined life is not worth living

Let go, resort, and live with great love

When I was cleaning out my garage it reminded me of spiritual housekeeping. As I cleaned I came upon things to sort out, things to let go of, things to keep, and things that I wondered how I ever collected them.

You know cleaning out our lives is very much the same way. Make time to really take an honest look, remember it was Henry David Thoreau who said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” So as we go through our own mental and emotional closets and some of the things we have perhaps held on to, we think it’s time to let go this day.

As Mother Teresa said, “It is not that we do great things, but we do the things we do with great love.” So as you are heading into the weekend that you’ve laid claim to, let today be a day of letting go of the things it is time to let go of.  Resort some of the things you want to make important in your life, take a look at your priorities. Just remember, it isn’t the things we do, it’s the energy we do them from; may it be great love.

Many Blessings,
Mary
