We can anchor peace in the world

Gandhi's practice can help us to create peace today

Mahatma Gandhi said, “My religion is truth. My practice is non-cooperation with evil.” Now Gandhi came from a practice which increased soul force of Ahimsa. Satyagraha he called the practice of non-violence which he said was more powerful than any force or power that came from the world.

So you and I have the opportunity to anchor peace in our world right where we are today. We can bring that about. We can bring about the peace that we long for: for our world, for our families, for ourselves. We can bring peace right where we are today by just taking on Gandhi’s practice.

My religion is truth. Religion means to bind. So let us bind ourselves to the truth this day. Notice if we can stay absolutely, pristinely adhered to whatever is true in the moment. Speak from that truth. Know that. As we do that, simply choose not to cooperate with anything less than that truth. Let’s see if we can live our lives in love and offer that to the world.

Many Blessings,
Mary
