What is your currency?

May my practice today bring me to the currency of my own aliveness

You know, have you ever thought about the word 'current' or 'currency'? I know that we attach the idea of currency to the money that is in our wallet or our bank account. The word current refers to the present moment.

Did you know that both the words current and currency are from the same derivative? This means that when we are in the present moment, the current, we are in a flow of good that is God's presence.

Remember God's name is I AM. God's name is not I WILL BE. God's name is not I WAS. God's name is I AM. That is in this present moment. We will never find God in the future. We will never find God in the past. The attributes for God; peace, relaxation, love, honesty, integrity, wonder, glory--all of these are found in the present here and now. They are current.

So today take a deep breath and say, “May my practice this day bring me to the currency of my own aliveness, right here, right now." Then notice if you don't see more and feel more than you ever have before. Because, my friend, we are reminded the kingdom of heaven is not here or there. It is within us right here, right now.

Many Blessings,
Mary
